Dr. Fleming continues to practice full time in Sarasota, Florida in conjunction with presenting as a guest speaker for several international groups on CEREC technology. Dr. Fleming has also served on the Board of an international academy, which furthered the understanding and uses of computerized technologies and machinable restorative materials for advanced dentistry. In addition to serving as a consultant to a variety of dental manufactures, Dr. Fleming’s experience has helped with product evaluation and development. Providing this valued information has also allowed him to be a BETA tester for CEREC software since 2001. With the many hats that he wears, Dr. Fleming has recently joined the CAD/CAM faculty team at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry. With his many talents, he currently serves as an adjunct faculty on CERECdoctors.com; the largest online CEREC training in the world. Dr. Fleming is also a Basic Trainer for Patterson Dental for CEREC technology.

Dr. Fleming has been recently engaged with the continuing education field. While serving on the Board of the Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America, he has been involved with instructing a hands on course for the CEREC Chairside CAD/CAM  procedures and Design; at the Annual Meeting held in Vancouver, British Columbia. In addition to training courses, he has also authored an article on CAD/CAM Dentistry for continue education credits for dentists. As we all know, Dr. Fleming has a passion to learn and the willingness to advance his knowledge in dentistry especially in the field of lasers. With that training, he is able to contribute his wealth of knowledge offering training courses to his peers.  He pursues to be on the cutting edge of dentistry so he can extend his skills and expertise with his patients, providing excellent care.

Our office recently acquired the SIROLaser to join Dr. Fleming’s inventory of laser treatments available for our patients.  This compact diode laser is exceptionally versatile in its application for endodontics, periodontics and surgery.  We continue to offer the Biolase and Periolase lasers for a broad variety of laser treatments.  Dr. Fleming has spent numerous weekends training other dentists in the use of the SIROLaser and will maintain this training process throughout the year.

In June, Dr. Fleming presented “In The Beginning…Tips for Cerec” at the Academy of Computerized Dentists of North America (ACDNA) in Scottsdale, Arizona.  More than 700 dentists and staff attended this conference.  Additionally, Dr Fleming has been appointed President-Elect of the ACDNA and will participate in event planning for the 2007 conference in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Dr. Fleming will attend advanced laser training in California in late July.  This will augment his skills in teching fellow dentists in the applications of laser treatments.  He continues to serve as instructor for the Cerec technology.  You may read more about our lasers and Cerec on our web page marked “technology”.
